Welcome to the magical world of Fairies of the Painted Sun ~ Painted Sun Designs. Original one of a kind, purely sculpted by hand, works of art in Polymer Clay by Sunny Talbot. Absolutely no molds were used to create any of my sculptures. Each one has an inner wire armature for strength and is hand painted with fine artist oils. Each is signed and numbered.
This magnificent fae rides atop a fabulous giraffe watching over the Land of the Painted Sun and all it's new Spring life.
Here you can see The Guardian of Spring in full view. This sculpture has a total height of 18 1/2" & the width of 14" with fairy rider.
This red headed beauty is able to be posed on her giraffe or one her own in a seated position. She is 9.5 " tall.
The Giraffe and Fairy have been hand painted and detailed with Polymer Clay, Oil Paints and Acrylics. I have also added beadwork and some textures.
Here you can see a wonderful close up of Spring's Guardian. She is glorious and exudes much strength. She protects all of Springs living things.
Close up of the Giraffe's head armor. All the Giraffe and Fairy's details are floral & leaf designs depicting Spring.
Here you can see the Giraffe's breast plate with it's floral design. Yellows, magentas, greens, browns & golds.
Beadwork on each side of the Giraffe's saddle. Turquoise, Amethyst, Smokey color Swarovski Crystals & Gold metal beads dangle from the saddle.
