Gilbert is a sweet Reborn Baby BOY that I created using the head and legs of a "Brian" sculpt by Sebilla Bos and the arms of a "Joey" kit by Bountiful Baby. He is a super cute, cuddly baby boy!

Gilbert is a full Reborn work of ART! He has been painted using Heat Set Oils that are permanent and non-fading. His skin is smooth to the touch. I take several hours to perfect the skin tones to create the most real to life little baby I can. Each tiny crease, tiny eyebrows, inside the ears and between fingers and toes also were all painted so delicately to bring the most depth and real life look. Gilbert has 3/4 vinyl arms and legs and can wear short outfits. He has a jointed doe suede flesh color body that is so wonderfully soft. He curls up in your arms like a real baby. All his parts have been weighted. This time I switched from my normal polypellets to small glass beads. They have been sealed so they cannot escape any of the body parts. He weighs right around 4lbs. I do not overstuff my babies. I like them to feel like a newborn that you have to support with your hands. Gilbert can fit into Newborn clothing perfectly! He seems to love bright colors!

A little bit about myself: My name is Sunny Talbot and I am a One of a Kind Art Doll Sculptor. I work with Polymer Clay on miniature and life size dolls. I also as you can see here am a Reborn Doll Artist. I love to float back and forth with my work. It give me lots of variety and tons to look forward to creating. I have a degree in Graphic Design or as they call it Visual Communication. I also was a Preschool Teacher & Art Director. I have 2 wonderful kids Jaxon & Jade. Jax is 3 years old and Jade is 15. WOW. Where does the time go? I work out of my home in Minneapolis, MN and have a long time companion ( not husband yet. LOL) of 13 years, Joel. I love to sell my dolls on Ebay. Gilberts tiny fingers and toes have been very carefully painted to bring out the real life look. The nails even have tiny moons and the tiniest slivers of white on the tips. Each nail is sealed with Satin Varnish to bring them a tiny extra glow.

Gilbert's hair is baby fine wavy light brown Mohair. Each hair was rooted by hand called Micro-Rooting. Literally it is done 1 - 2 hairs at a time using a tiny needle. This takes hours. The hair was then sealed with waterproof glue inside the head. So you can freely wash and style his hair like a real baby.

Layaway is only available on auctions with winning bid of $600.00 or over. One half of winning bid is due upon or 3 days after auctions close. The remaining balance is due the following month. Layaway is non-refundable. Baby doll will not ship until payment is made in full.

I ship my precious little babies via Priority Mail USPS Insured with Delivery Confirmation. They are very carefully packed and marked Fragile so the Post Office handles them properly.

International shipping is Express Mail only. I will not mark packages as gifts and you will have a import tax to pay so please bid wisely. Also you will receive a tracking number with Express Mail via USPS. So you will be able to track your package easily.
