In the realm of The Painted Sun creatures may appear to be something they are not. You will need to look carefully for a bird may not be a bird at all!

Brarn the Raven Fairy is playing Finder's Keepers. He has found a small silver ring and plans to keep it for his own. Be careful not to drop anything for Brarn has a sharp eye and may think it's Finder's Keepers time. Brarn is a one of a kind original sculpted fairy by Sunny Talbot of Fairies of the Painted Sun ~ Painted Sun Designs. Absolutely NO molds were used in his creation. He is sculpted from Polymer Clay and has a wire inner structure for strength. Brarn is signed and numbered. He will never be duplicated.

Brarn holds his new found treasure in his hand close to his heart!

Brarn without his headdress on. Here you can see all of his feathers and the closer view of the ring he holds.

From the front view you cannot see his naked beauty. For those of you who like a bit more coverage I can send along a small piece of fabric you can drape under him to hide his under regions. Just request it by e-mailing me if you are the winning bidder and are interested.

Here is Brarn without his headdress again. Isn't he wonderful!

Brarn's headdress is made of clay and black feathers.

Wing close ups. He has 4 wings with black feathers that run all along the edges of each wing. The second set are under the larger top two. A bit hard to see in photos. They are smaller wings made in the same style as the top two shimmery ones.

Brarn's face close up. Remember that his head is only 3/4 of an inch big. Those little tiny eyes are painted with a single bristle brush. Very tricky.

Here are a bit of photos of Brarn when he was in progress. Fun to see his birth. The wire sticking out of his head is part of the wire structure he was built on. That remains for firing purposes so he can hang in the oven. It is then snipped off to add the hair.

The ring!

Brarn "Finder's Keepers" is 4 1/2" tall in his seated position. His wings are removable for easy shipping.
